The England team have already secured qualification for next summer's competition.

Chalobah earned his initial invitation under England manager Thomas Tuchel in May and then made his debut against Senegal.

In September, Tuchel remarked Chalobah was unlucky to be excluded from the squad for qualifiers against Serbia and Andorra, and also omitted him for the subsequent October fixtures.

Tuchel has been an significant presence in Chalobah's development, having given him his Chelsea first appearance in 2021.

Chalobah has featured in almost every matches for Chelsea this season, with the side in third place in the Premier League, in the EFL Cup last eight and in the group stage of the European competition.

Guehi picked up a foot problem in Crystal Palace's Conference League victory over AZ Alkmaar in their last match.

There are likely to be additional call-ups to the squad. Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has announced that both winger Anthony Gordon (hip) and goalkeeper Nick Pope (a concussion) are set to pull out from the England setup.
